These classes are about exploring self-expression through art. Drawing inspiration from renowned artists and from our own lives, we work in a variety of media which has included collage, printmaking, mosaics, mixed media, clay, & painting.  Writing is woven into the classes as a way of accessing the quiet voice within. Friendships are made as a byproduct of supporting and sharing with one another.

Emotionally I’ve been all over the place but knowing I could count on your class as a safe haven to explore art has truly been a blessing.”

In a relaxed and supportive setting, these small classes are a chance to learn more about art, strengthen your skills and tap the creative powers within. No experience is needed – just the desire to explore your creativity.

Over the past 18 years of these very popular classes, we’ve never repeated a project. Using ‘jumping-off-points’ as a way in, I gently guide my students to help them find their unique artistic voices. There’s a medium for everyone – so we try lots of them! One person may resonate with painting, while another finds a love of sculpting through wire. As long as a you are open and willing, creativity will happen – it’s a gift of being human!
